SELLING SILVERSEA GUIDE COMPETITION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PROMOTER
The Promoter is Silversea Cruises (UK) Ltd with registered office address at Building 7, The Heights, Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey KT13 OXW, United Kingdom (“Silversea”).
COMPETITION PERIOD
The Competition commences at 15:00hrs GMT on Monday 13th March 2023 and concludes at 16:00hrs GMT on Monday 27th March 2023. Any entries received outside the Competition period shall be void.
ENTRANTS
This Competition is open to employees of Travel Agents who are current members of [Silversea Loyalty Program] and have the permission of their employer to enter into the Competition and residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over at the time of entry. Proof of eligibility must be provided upon request. If a winner is found to be ineligible, Promoter reserves the right to award the Prize to another entrant and to require the return of any part of the Prize already awarded.
Employees of Silversea Cruises or any of its Group Companies, subsidiaries, affiliates (including any relatives, family members, agents and/or household members) and anyone else connected with the operation or fulfilment of the Prize Draw (including third party promotional partners) and their respective associated, affiliated, or subsidiary companies, and their immediate families and household members of all such employees are expressly excluded from entering this Competition.
To enter the Competition, entrants must answer three questions and submit their answers via the dedicated landing page https://events.silversea.com/win-with-silversea.
Entrants shall make a maximum of 1 entry per person. Bulk automatically generated or third party entries shall be void.
Entries must be received before the Competition end date. Late, incomplete, invalid and/or corrupt submissions will not be accepted and will be disqualified. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
THE COMPETITION PRIZE (“Prize”)
The Prize consists of 1 x place on a 2 night fam trip onboard Silver Spirit from 7th – 9th June 2023 sailing from Split to Venice on a cruise only basis; and 5 x 200 Silversea Agent Rewards Points.
SELECTION OF WINNERS
All entrants who correctly answered the questions will be entered into the draw. The draw will take place within three (3) working days of the close of the Competition.
There shall be six winners and the winners will be selected at random from valid entries received before the Competition end date and notified by email or any other contact details provided to the Promoter during the entry period, within 7 days of the draw.
The winner will be required to confirm acceptance of Prize within 7 days of being notified. In the event that the winner declines the Prize, and/or is unable to accept the Prize, and or fails to respond to the Promoter’s email(s) within the required time frame and or does not receive the Promoter’s email for whatever reason, and/or does not respond to the Promoter’s email in the prescribed manner, and/or does not claim/take the Prize, and/or is ineligible or otherwise unable to claim the Prize, the winner shall forfeit the Prize and the Promoter shall have no liability to the winner and reserves the right in its absolute and sole discretion to award the Prize to another winner.
TRAVEL AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
The winner will be responsible for ensuring and checking that they (i) hold any and all documentation required in order to travel including, without limitation, ensuring that they are in possession of valid passports with an expiry date no earlier than six months after the completion of the Prize cruise and apply and/or have any visas and/or other permits required for travel; and (ii) have adequate and comprehensive travel insurance (evidence of which shall be provided to the Promoter if requested), and (iii) comply with any and all health requirements for travel including, without limitation, any required vaccinations, heath certifications and/or permits.
The winner is required to check the Silversea Cruises website, the FCDO travel advice website and the equivalent country websites of the countries being visited as part of the cruise, prior to departure, for the latest advice and information about travel documentation, procedures, facilities, policies, health and safety information and vaccination & health requirements.

Due to changing health protocols onboard and destination experiences, offerings, features or itineraries may be subject to change at any time and may vary by ship and destination. Please note Silversea Cruises do not allow anyone in their 24th week of pregnancy or past this stage of pregnancy to sail.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By entering this Competition, entrants are considered to have agreed to these terms and conditions, as well as the privacy policies of Silversea Cruises https://www.silversea.com/privacy-policy.html.
The Prize is subject to (i) these Prize terms and conditions and (ii) the Promoter’s standard booking terms and conditions that are available in the Silversea Cruises relevant brochure and at https://www.silversea.com/terms and conditions.html. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and/or the booking terms and conditions at any time.
The winner must submit all the necessary and required booking documentation in the prescribed manner and by the prescribed dates, in order to receive their Prize. Failure to provide such documentation and/or information shall entitle the Promoter to withdraw the Prize and select another winner. Prize fulfilment will be managed by the Promoter.
The determination and decision of the Promoter on all matters shall be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into (including as to the winner).
The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to:
(i) cancel, suspend and/or modify this Promotion, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, a change in applicable law or any other factor beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control impairs the integrity and/or proper functioning of this Competition; (ii) In the event of a technical or other error resulting in there being more winners than the Prize (a) declare as void any claims or entries resulting from such technical or other error and/or (b) allocate the available prize through a further draw or to divide the value of the Prize between the winners of the Prize Draw and;
(iii) reject any submissions/entries, and/or disqualify any entrants, at any time, if it deems that there has been or may be, whether intended or otherwise, any: (a)breach of any of these terms and conditions; and/or (b) infringement or potential infringement of any third party rights and/or intellectual property; and/or (c) defamation or potential defamation of any persons, companies, intellectual property, institutions, cultures or similar; and/or (d) offence or potential offence caused, howsoever arising; and/or (e) breach of any laws, regulations, codes (including moral codes), uses, guidelines and generally accepted etiquette rules required from any internet users, platforms, providers, hosts and/or sites and similar.
The Prize is as described, is not transferable, cannot be amended once booked, has no cash value (and cannot be exchanged for cash) and cannot be re-sold.
The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to change the Prize and/or substitute any or all of the Prize with an alternative prize of equivalent value.
The winner may be requested to take part in publicity resulting from the prize draw. The Promoter (and its group companies) shall seek winners consent to use, in any way and/or through any medium, of any comments provided and/or made by the winning entrant including, without limitation, those provided by the winning entrant on any social media sites and/or Silversea Cruises owned marketing channels (including the Silversea Cruises website), for the benefit of promoting the Promoter and associated companies, subject to the applicable policies of the relevant social media sites and/or marketing channels and Silversea’s Privacy Policy a copy of which is linked below.
In entering the Competition, entrants agree not to post any detrimental content on any social media platform and/or in any other mediums.
Any personal information provided during the entry process (including but not limited to entrant’s name) must be valid and truthful. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any incorrect, false or fictitious personal information provided to it. The Promoter shall use the entrants’ personal data for the purpose of administering and/or promoting this Promotion.
If entrants wish to receive marketing information from the Promoter, they can opt-in on the Promoter’s website, and can opt-out at any time by writing to the Promoter at the address below, or by clicking the link in any message received. By entering this Promotion, each entrant is providing information to the Promoter who undertakes to process such entrant’s personal details in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“Privacy Law”) and (ii) any applicable laws implementing the Privacy Law in the territories where entrants are resident (“Applicable Laws”).
The entrant shall be liable for complying with any fiscal and/or tax requirements (including, without limitation, any benefit-in-kind declarations and/or calculations) and other legal obligations and/or requirements arising out of, or in connection with, the Prize.
Save where it has been negligent, Promoter will not be responsible or liable for any damage, loss, cost, compensation and/or other expense or any personal injury or death occurring as a result of participants’ entry into the Competition or their acceptance and/or use of the Prize, or for technical, hardware or software failures, lost, faulty or unavailable network connections or difficulties of any kind that may limit or prohibit participant’s ability to participate in the Competition. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall in any way limit Silversea Cruises’ liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for any other matter where liability may not be limited as a matter of law.
This Competition shall be subject to English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any dispute or claim arising in association with this Competition.
